Payroll Card Brochure

The Payment Card Brochure provides the Reg E disclosures to permit employers to provide their employees convenient access to  their wages and other employee compensation via a payroll card. Intended for use by all depository institutions, the Payment Card Brochure is a work-sheet-based, "take one" brochure consisting of an application and Reg E disclosure. Its options permit:

• Access funds via ATM or at point of sale from the payroll card account with your financial institution, and
  
  
• An option to use the Reg E permitted alternative to providing a periodic statement.

This brochure can be presented to your commercial customers, sent by mail to by your commercial customers to their existing employees,  or placed in a lobby "take one" display for those commercial customers who offer payroll cards. Upon receiving the Payment Card Brochure, employees can study it at their convenience; complete, sign, and return the application portion; and retain the disclosure portion for their records.

The Payment Card Brochure can also be set up to use the Reg E permitted alternative to providing a periodic statement. This cost saving feature makes economic sense for financial institutions and adds convenience to cardholders that prefer to access their account history on-line or over the phone.
